Starlink Mini on the Move — No Drilling Required
One of the biggest advantages of the Starlink Mini is its portability. Unlike the full-size Gen 3 dish, the Mini is compact enough to mount temporarily on a vehicle — making it perfect for 4WD trips, caravan travel, and remote work on the road.
The Starlink Mini Silicone Suction Mount uses a heavy-duty silicone suction cup to attach directly to any vehicle glass — no drilling, no permanent modifications, no fuss.
Who Is This Mount For?
- 4WD adventurers who need internet at remote campsites
- Caravan and campervan travellers wanting reliable connectivity on the road
- Remote workers who travel between sites
- Boat owners needing temporary satellite internet at anchor
How to Mount Your Starlink Mini with the Suction Mount
Step 1: Clean the Glass Surface
For maximum suction strength, clean the glass thoroughly with an alcohol wipe and allow it to dry completely.
Step 2: Position the Mount
Choose a position on your windscreen, rear window, or side glass that gives the dish a clear view of the northern sky.
Step 3: Attach the Suction Cup
Press the silicone suction cup firmly against the glass and engage the locking lever. Give it a firm tug to confirm it's secure before attaching the dish.
Step 4: Attach the Starlink Mini Dish
Clip your Starlink Mini onto the mount bracket and route the cable carefully inside the vehicle.
Step 5: Check Signal and Connect
Power up and open the Starlink app. At a stationary campsite you should connect within 1-2 minutes.
Tips for Best Performance on the Road
- Always check for obstructions to the north before setting up
- Re-clean the suction surface if stored for a while
